Basuki to Evaluate Echelon II Official from Budget Absorption Performance

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama admitted to give a second chance against echelon II officials that have moderate ability until December. This is because performance assesment will be reviewed from budget absorption in each regional working units (SKPD).

“We’ll evaluate them until end of this year, the evaluation point is from budget absorption,” he said at City Hall, Monday (10/26).

Ahok added to dismiss official who cannot show up their best performance. It is because he plans to do official reshuflle in next or end of this year.

“Unfair if I cut them now, because such budget absorption hasn’t reached well,” he stated.

Basuki drawn an analogy reshuffle is just like footbal game. Whereabout the SKPD act as a coach who asked for the courage to replace the players. Because the performance of the staff also will affect the assessment of the second echelon.

As known, City Administration has 100 echelon II officials stock. Acording to the plan, he will hold test for headmen. This is because they will lead a neighborhood, they will become estate manager in their respective area.

"The test is slated in November," he disclosed.
